PRODUCT

Our cement- and terrazzo tiles are handmade one by one, using traditional production methods. Understanding how they are made, how the tile colors are achieved and wear over time is critical to appreciating the beauty and performance of the tile. Due to the way of manufacturing, slight variations in colours, light effloressence, small deviations in size and thickness are the very nature and base character of the cement tiles and are NO ground for any claims later on. If in doubt, or have no previous experience with cement tiles, we strongly recommend to order a sample before going ahead of your order.

ORDERING AND LEAD TIMES

In stock tile orders ship within 2 business days of order receipt. Custom cement tile lead times vary depending on the design and schedule needs of clients. All lead times provided are estimated arrival times to our warehouse in Törökbálint, Hungary, and additional transit days may be necessary for outbound shipments from our warehouse to our customers.

We will make every effort to meet or reduce lead times where possible but there are no guarantees due to the custom nature of the manufacturing process.

Disclaimer: regarding customized orders we have to produce, please note that international shipping companies guarantee no fixed arrival dates for containers. Based on our many years of experince, production and transport take 3 months approxiametly, this is the lead time we normally give for delivery, but can not be relied upon fully – Marrakesh Cement Tile can not be hold responsible for delays of the transport companies. If the deadline of your project is very tight, please choose something from stock.

OVERAGE

All customers are solely responsible for providing measurements and quantities needed for each order. In addition, all customers are strongly advised to order 10-15% more tile than necessary to ensure that enough product is on-hand to successfully complete installation. Please consult your tile installer to ensure that your take-off quantity and overage calculations are correct.

Keep in mind that the price of the overage quantity is minimal in comparison to the cost of rush product and one-off shipping in the event that more product is needed after the original order due to site conditions, mistakes in order quantities, or installation errors. Trying to save a few hundred euros by decreasing or eliminating the standard 10-15% overage is the most common mistake customers make when placing orders. This mistake can end up costing 5-10 times more to place small incremental orders AND significantly delay projects by weeks or months!

PRICES, TAXES AND PAYMENTS

Our supply chain is lean, which is why we are able to price our tiles approximately 30-40% cheaper than other suppliers.

We reserve the right to price changes, misprints of price information, errors in article information and final sales.

All prices on the website is stated in EURO includes VAT ( 27% in Hungary). VAT is applied at the time of payment and paid as part of the original order.

If you have an EU tax #, please let us know and provide it before issuing the invoices.

All orders require 50% downpayment at time of order.

Only fully paid orders will be delivered and can be self picked-up from our warehouse.

Invoices are provided with the deliveredy and upon request copies can be sent via email as well.

SHIPPING

Shipping costs are charged on invoices based on the order confirmation. Any changes to orders, shipping dates, and/or shipping methods will result in change order costs that will be determined at the time of the change request.

All of our orders we ship throughout Europe by using trucking providers. We do not ship outside Europe, so we do not ship to the United States and Canada, sorry.

Delivery from stock items is carried out within 7-10 days after confirmation of the order and the reciept of payments.

Delivery of customized tiles that has be produced and shipped from our supplier can be expected within an 8-14 weeks timeframe, depending on the quantity, design, production capacity and shipping schedules. Marrakesh Cement Tile will inform you about the expexted and estimated delivrey date of the rder, but can not held responsible for any delays due to delays from shipping companies and forwarders.

The trucking company that is contracted to deliver your order will contact you to arrange a specific date and time for curbside delivery. Drivers will not pack and load. Customers should contact the freight company or Marrakesh Cement Tile for special requests such as inside delivery, lift gate, pallet jack, or if it is necessary to change the date and/or time of your delivery.

During delivery, all customers are responsible for inspecting the shipment for shortages or damages and noting those damages with the driver on the waybill. Any issues with the delivery must be photographed and noted with the delivery driver on the shipping documentation in order to initiate a claim. The claims agents for the shipping company will request photos and written documentation to process the claim. Please take extra time to ensure that this is done effectively during delivery in order to avoid any costs associated with replacement material for your order. Any missed deliveries or delivery refusals will result in storage and redelivery fees paid to the trucking company.

If there are any issues, please contact Marrakesh Cement Tile as soon as possible but no more than 48 hours after delivery and we will work to replace any items damaged in transit as quickly as possible!

STORAGE

We will warehouse your product free of charge for 4 weeks. After that time has expired, each order that is held due to customer receiving delays will incur a 100 EUR / order charge per week.

All customers acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions of sale outlined above by placing orders.

INSTALLATION, CARE, AND MAINTENANCE

Marrakesh Cement Tile strongly recommends that all customers heavily leverage a tile installer in the up front planning, measuring, ordering, sealing, and maintenance of cement tile or terrazzo products. Leveraging an installer with specific experience and expertise will ensure that projects are completed successfully.

Please do make sure to order and use our tested impregnation and wax sealers.

All customers are responsible for sealing and protecting cement tile ordered from Marrakesh Cement Tile to ensure that the tiles are maintained correctly.

Marrakesh Cement Tile is always here to advise on how and where to successfully install cement tiles but makes no guarantees on performance or maintenance after installation. We don’t accept complaints on installed tiles.

Marrakesh Cement Tile is not responsible for installation, on-going care, or problems arising from any orders after receipt of the product. Detailed tile specification sheets are available upon request.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Marrakesh Cement Tile does not accept any returns of unopened boxes of tile. Please calculate and order the exact amount you need .

No claims are accepted after installation of the tiles.
